Your Sacred Destiny (Shaman)

The Client: I met Dani Burling (Shaman Dani) back when she and I both lived in Brentwood, CA - she's based in Palm Desert, CA now (near Palm Springs). We met through the Chamber of Commerce networking events, and became friends. She'd come into the restaurant I had at the time. I became her client as well, taking her 18-month Medicine Wheel training, and getting energy field work too (she's amazing!). 

What Happened: Like what happened with some of my other clients, when I designed Dani's first website, I used a theme and child theme that was at the top of the "Theme Food Chain" at the time. But that's the thing with websites; there is no such thing as design it one time and forget about it. The plugins that are used on most websites continue to get updates over time, and the themes, and the WordPress software (PHP) itself. Plus, during that time, WordPress went through some very heavy changes - the theme was no longer compatible and needed to be swapped out. 

Tech Side: I built the new site using the Beaver Builder theme. Dani used to work on her old website by logging into the back end, and making content edits, creating photo galleries, even new pages. She wanted to do the same with the Beaver Builder site. I created the header, footer and most of the pages, placing some beginner content on them, and Dani added and subtracted. I also placed a group of video tutorials right in the site's dashboard to help if she got stuck. Plus I was there to help when she had questions or needed help with more of the coding side. The site turned out beautiful!

This client keeps a KMS Care Plan in place, which allows her peace of mind not worrying about backups, updates, monthly minutes towards making changes, and much more.
