Fastpost LLC ™ (Real Estate Signposts)

The Client: Fastpost hired me in December 2022 to maintain their website with one of my Care Plans. They were using an outdated "custom" WordPress theme developed for them by a company that had essentially gone out of business. It was a difficult custom theme to work with, as the developer had all kinds of layers upon layers; it was hard to find it when I needed to update text, or products, etc. Chad and his wife Tracie are true entrepreneurs; they created a 'Signs for Life Events' during Covid in 2020. Plus they plan to launch a photography business in 2025.

What Happened: The owner, Chad, knew he needed to have the site rebuilt at some point, and the timeline finally fell into place when he realized he wanted to add more business ideas and pages to the website. It made more sense to add those new growth funnels into a refreshed website.

Tech Side: I built the new site using the Beaver Builder theme. I followed the basic layout of the existing pages since they were working fine and in general, the client liked the way they looked. Aesthetically, we brightened and warmed up the overall look of the website. Brighter colors, more open white space, updated graphics, even the hero image (banner) on the home page got a jazzy new upgrade. We made improvements for viewers to interact with the site. For example, we categorized the FAQ questions, and then placed them into an accordian-style format (rather than one very long string of text). Many SEO-induced changes were made, such as adding the iconic features of using Fastpost's signposts to the middle of the home page, and rewriting some content. We converted testimonials from text to an interactive live Google feed that will show the latest 10 reviews. We added mention of two of the new businesses, and will work on adding the photography business in the new year. 

This client keeps a KMS Care Plan in place, which allows them peace of mind in not worrying about backups, updates, and provides monthly minutes towards making changes, and much more.
